Best Location Aware Android App »

This program is great. Create events (application, time, date, location, event, gesture) that trigger arbitrary tasks. This app does so much more than Locale, and for the time being it’s free. When it goes commercial, I wouldn’t hesitate throwing >$10 at it.

Leaving my apartment, my GPS switches on, WIFI off, and ringer to buzz. Coming back (~50m of apt), my GPS turns off, WIFI on, and the XBMC controller app starts up. This thing is so feature packed: trigger phone calls, text messages, GET/POST requests… all sorts of stuff I find useful. Heck, I could even have a sexy female robot voice greet me when I get home…
